Refunds

If an adopted pet is returned within 15 days of adoption, the following options are available to the adopter:
Exchange:  Adopter may exchange their pet for one with an adoption fee equal to or less than their original fee.  If choosing a pet with a higher fee, the adopter will pay the difference.
Refund: Adopter may receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.  There is no processing fee for conditional adoptions, such as those involving a resident cat.
Donation:  Adopter may leave the adoption fee with WBCR as a donation

Returns:   WBCR will accept back any animal with a disease, injury or abnormality that existed at the time of adoption.  Costs of return are the responsibility of the person returning the animal.  Once returned, the animal becomes the property of Wish Bone Canine Rescue.  Instead of returning an animal, if the adopter knows someone who wants to give it a  home, adopter will notify WBCR of the new owner’s name and contact information so the microchip registration can be updated.
